Hello there, Kupo!
We are Phenomenon Gaming. A group of close friends / family playing Final Fantasy XIV together. We want to pursue and complete all in-game content, we are all experienced gamers who are fantastic at the game. We also play other games together, but it is up to you if you wish to participate in other future gaming with us. Members of Phenomenon Gaming believe in team work, working hard for what you want and sometimes taking a few risks. Our members are real people, with real jobs who step out into the sunlight and occasionally get lucky with real ladies - we are not complete hermits who expect you to dedicate your entire life to a video game. When we play, we play well to waste little time. We help our members, work together to complete content, we share ideas and methods - it is the most efficient means of making the most out of your time on Final Fantasy XIV and that is what we are about.

We welcome players of new and old. As long as you are willing to treat others how you would like to be treated, help others in times of nerdy dire troubles, keep yer' chin up and try your hardest… We will have your back and go far for you. We're all pretty down to earth; Code Maverick who is the FC leader is a rational, logical and an even tempered kinda' guy who will go all out for his FC members. New players should not feel too threatened by the application form to join, you are more than welcome in our ranks so long as you prove to be a human and keep active, however Phenomenon is a one Free Company and we won't accept being your dirty seconds. It isn't fair to existing members who have been working hard with us, to give somebody else who hasn't been so active with us but rather another FC all of our attention - it just isn't common sense. We will not bend over backwards for somebody who doesn't want to work as a team or turn up for events.


.:: Rules & Regulations ::.

I. Respect the humans you play with. That includes people even outside of the FC. You are representing us and we represent respect and all good things. We don't want any of our players to give the wrong impression to people.
II. Have some form of manners. We don't mind humor at all, but there is a fine line between being stupidly vulgar and actually being a funny kinda' person.
III. We never want to hear, "You only get help cause' you're a girl!". Never pick a fight with our ladies, because you will not win.
IV. It is compulsory for members who are taking part in our events to use Raid Call.
V. We do not deal with bullshitters, people who are stirring information, rude and verbal abusive or racist behavior.
VI. Communication is a top priority in this FC. Our ultimate goal is to play the game together and complete content together, so we require you to read and partake in the forums. Your voice and opinion is important to us, no matter how new you are - if you have a problem whatever it is, it's vital you tell a leader always. The leaders must always be aware of how the FC is feeling and what they are thinking as a whole. If there is something we aren't doing right, or if the shit is going to hit the fan - the leader must be in 'the know'. Never let things grow into a tumor, we want you to enjoy the game and enjoy being part of Phenomenon Gaming.
VII. Please remember that our FC Master is one person. We expect people to help each other when they can, also for members to use their own initiative when needed. Basically, common sense and not to expect everything just given to you. Leaders are expected to make events for members as well as the FC Master.


.:: What we require from you ::.

READ CLOSELY and ensure you understand our requirements from you as we will be making you keep up to them.
+ Every single event with the Free Company is recorded.
We require you to study as much as you can about your job, your class and to study the videos we record in order for you to progress. This is vital as a member of Phenomenon. We don't like wasting time. We will help you as much as we can to improve your role. However we can't make you sit down and study strategy videos or pull your weight - we will notice if you are slacking. You must learn how to invest your time, because if you are no good at your role and are wasting our own time… We ain't exactly going to keep you on Team A.
The FC leaders will be watching your skills closely.

+When meetings are held, it is compulsory you join in.
Obviously people have jobs, children to feed - so we do not expect you to join in on every meeting. You can find reviews of the meetings in the forums. So if you are unable to join the meeting, then please read the review. However if you are consistently avoiding meetings, we will have a problem. The meetings aren't just for show & tell, they are to keep every team player up to date so nobody pisses their pants when they log in. Meetings are held 2-3 times a month.

+ TEAM WORK!
We do not negotiate with emotional butt hurt terrorists. We don't campaign for soloists on a mission to prove how big their gamer penis is. We like teamwork! Phenomenon needs people who understand exactly what team work is. If you are not a team player, then please turn your back around right now. Do not yell at other team members when they are doing something wrong in combat, learn the art of communication and direct them in a professional manner. Do not take it as a personal offense to your ego when somebody is directing you about your role, it is never going to be about your ego… We need people to progress and want to progress & learn. Nobody can afford to waste time, so when somebody is directing you they aren't going to waste their time picking a fight - it is about what is in the best interest for your role and how the team functions as a whole.
